As a rare disease, CJD can be extremely isolating for those affected and their families. As well as supporting people to connect with others who have a common experience, we understand the importance of raising awareness. International CJD Awareness Day
The 12th of November is International CJD Awareness Day. On this day every year, we come together with our friends and colleagues across the world to raise awareness of CJD and prion diseases. Starting in 2022, we will be publishing a video that can be shared to mark the day each year. If you would like your loved one’s photo to be added to the video for the next International CJD Awareness Day, please send it to us at [email protected]
Awareness items
We stock a number of awareness-raising products including pens, pin badges, and wristbands which can be purchased via our shop. These items can be used to raise awareness at home, school, work, and in your local community.
