Care Grants from the CJD Support Network

The CJD Support Network (CJDSN) is dedicated to supporting individuals affected by Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), all human prion diseases, and their families.

As part of this commitment, CJDSN offers care grants of up to £500 to assist with care-related expenses for those facing financial hardship due to CJD.

Important Information:

• Repeat grants are not ordinarily given due to limited funds.
• Further details on eligibility and application processes can be found in our Care Grant Policy.

CJDSN usually accepts applications from pre-approved ‘Referral Partners’, such as:

• Clinicians from the National Prion Clinic (London)
• CJD National Nursing Service (Edinburgh)
• National CJD Research and Surveillance Unit (NCJDRSU)
