In our 2022 Raffle, Nicola Hall was the winner of two tickets to a premier league Tottenham Hotspur match. Nicola’s husband Michael, who passed away with CJD in October 2021, was an avid West Ham fan and would often wind up Nicola’s dad – a lifelong Tottenham supporter. Nicola used her prize to send her dad to see Tottenham play Bournemouth this month as a present for his 80th birthday – ten years since his last experience of a live match at White Heart lane (the previous stadium) for his 70th birthday. Nicola says ‘he was in awe of the stadium and the VIP package that was arranged for him and his friend. It really was a day to remember. Even though Tottenham lost, just to be there soaking up the experience of the new stadium was enough on its own. He absolutely loved it.’
