We aim for this to be a welcoming, friendly and informative day with opportunities to meet others, learn more about CJD and prion diseases, be updated about the current context of CJD and prion disease research and treatment, and share time together. There is plenty of space to step away if you need to, and no expectations on anyone other than to contribute to a safe environment for all. Attendees include leading clinical experts and many of our Trustees, alongside both first time attendees and regular visitors. Family has a broad meaning, including friends and chosen family.

Location: St Anne’s College, Oxford
Information: We would be delighted to welcome anyone with a personal connection to any form of prion disease to attend. The meeting will involve talks, time for connecting with one another, and space for speaking with national experts. The main meeting on Saturday 12th September will not only include lunch, but also an optional informal buffet to round off the day in a supportive and social way. There will also be the usual option of joining us for a meal the previous evening (Friday 11th September).
There is no cost to attend the meeting, and all catering will be covered during the day.
Overnight bed and breakfast accommodation is available at the venue on the Friday and Saturday evening (subject to availability) at attendee’s own cost. This is at a subsidised rate of £43 for an en suite single bedroom. Further information will be sent regarding accommodation following registration.
