On a beautiful day in July, Claverley Cricket Club hosted a match to raise funds for the CJD Support Network in memory of Louise Barnes. Claverley Legends took on Penn Legends and the game was well fought with good humour. Onlookers enjoyed their picnics to the sound of both wickets and music.
The day raised £550 plus gift aid where applicable. Louise’s family would like to send special thanks to Tom Grainger for all his efforts for this event. Together with previous fundraising, over £2,000 has now been raised in Louise’s name. We continue to be very grateful that her family and friends have chosen to support others affected by CJD by supporting the CJD Network. Thank you.
