On Saturday 10th June, Kirsty Davies, owner of Energy Effect Studio, led members in their biggest, best, and most emotional annual charity day to date – completing back to back classes from 8am-1pm to raise money for the CJD Support Network in honour of friend and special member of the studio, Kate, who has recently been diagnosed with the onset of inherited prion disease.

The day was a roaring success, with Kate joining them via Zoom, and the team raised a fantastic £3,647 with more donations still to come in. They finished the day on Kate’s favourite class – Piloxing, ending on her favourite track. Kirsty says “There wasn’t a dry eye in the place when she [Kate] stood up and followed the entire routine with her son George, husband Simon and their gorgeous puppy Ronnie bouncing about too!’
