Last week, our coordinator Beth visited Hereford Tesco, as they presented a cheque to the CJD Support Network for funds raised by the colleagues, family and friends of Tracey Eames – who passed away in 2023 with sporadic CJD. The team at Tesco held a Fundraising Day – selling merchandise and raising awareness of CJD and prion disease in the process, as well as raising a fantastic £1,197.40!
Beth, Tracey’s parents, her husband Roger, sister Michelle and colleagues Naomi, Wendy, Louise and Johanne are all pictured here. They were shortly joined by Tracey’s daughter, Molly, who is now working at her mum’s store alongside college.
