Back in December 2023, we shared some news about Liza Middleton’s Christmas Bake Sale, in memory of her dad Peter who passed away with sporadic CJD in June the same year. We mentioned that Liza was embarking on a fundraising journey and have an exciting update on her progress!
On Saturday 6th July, Liza and loved ones were busy walking a marathon to raise funds and awareness. The group walked an incredibly 49+ kilometres through Oxfordshire, setting off at 7am and completing the walk in 10 hours.
When she began fundraising, Liza set herself the goal of raising £1,000 and has already smashed this, achieving a fantastic £1,430 so far.
