We are please to share the following community update statement that has been released by Ionis Pharmaceuticals about their upcoming clinical trial. With thanks to the International CJD Support Alliance for circulating this update with the CJD Support Network. We will continue to provide updates to our UK network as and when they become available to us.
Please note that this is a first in human safety study. It is very early phase research, which will involve a relatively small number of sites and participants. The CJD Support Network has no direct links with Ionis Pharmaceuticals and the open trial site is based in the US.
