You may remember that, back in April 2024, Marie Watson completed the London Marathon wearing a CJD Support Network tshirt to raise awareness in memory of her mum, Mary Josephine Barry. We were so pleased to hear from Marie this week as she shared some fantastic photos of South Kent Harriers Running club who demonstrated their support on International CJD Awareness Day (Tuesday 12th Nov). Marie says:
A lot of discussion resulted mainly around Acquired CJD and they were unaware of Sporadic and Inherited CJD…Whilst running last night a few members did say they had googled CJD so the day worked!
