Family and friends of John Cook were busy on Tuesday 12th November, raising awareness for International CJD Awareness Day. Wife Karen and granddaughter Lilly, along with friend Hollie held a cake sale and raffle at John’s son in law Paul’s workplace Delta Fulfilment in Wrexham. The tickets and sweet treats sold like hot cakes (literally…our coordinator Beth managed to get there just in time to buy one!) and were all gone in under an hour with over £300 raised, along with awareness of CJD and prion disease. Congratulations to Managing Director Dani who won second prize in the raffle, and a HUGE thank you to Delta Fulfilment, Rachel Crimes, Paul Crimes, Karen Cook, Lilly Crimes and Hollie for making it all possible!
