On 21st June 2025, Ian Cogbill held his second Horse Racing Fundraiser for The CJD Support Network at the New House Inn, North Cornelly. A phenomenal £925 was raised in memory of Ian’s beloved wife, Darlene Cogbill. Bookies Ian and Keith Edwards were kept busy all evening! Ian says:
“A loud and raucous crowd attended…a total of 8 races were shown and the crowd loudly cheered their mounts on in every race! A huge shout out to all the race sponsors (Cornelly Hardware Store, Elite Mortgages, Oliver Huntley, Mike Poacher and Sons, Colleen Parry, the family of the late Lew Panniers and Keith Cogbill). Special mention to Colleen, Keith Edwards and all the punters and pub regulars who came along to support another very enjoyable evening. Thank you all so, so much from the Cogbill family.”
