After a busy week of gonk making, Ian, Aimee, Dan and the grandgirls all spent International CJD Awareness Day handing out fact sheets and selling merchandise at the Angleton Clinic, Glanrhyd Hospital, all in memory of Ian’s beloved wife Darlene, who was cared for at the clinic earlier this year during her illness with Sporadic CJD. As ever a massive thank you from the CJD Support Network to Ian and co. for their hard work! Ian says:
“Nurses and doctors, admin staff, domestics, psychologists, even some relatives visiting other patients turned up to see us! Lots of info and the fact sheets given out.”
