We are please to share the following community update statement that has been released by Ionis Pharmaceuticals about their upcoming clinical trial. Please note that this is a first in human safety study. It is very early phase research, which will involve a relatively small number of sites and participants. The CJD Support Network has no direct links with Ionis Pharmaceuticals and the open trial sites are not based in the UK.
