A HUGE well done to Jessica Riches, her family, and friend Mary-Lou who marked the weekend closest to International CJD Awareness Day (12th November 2024) with two days of litter picking, raising money in memory of Jessica’s wonderful grandma, Jane Critchley. The weekend was a great success, and even the rain on Sunday didn’t stop them!
The scores on the doors:
12 helpers joined in across the 2 days, a dog and a baby
5.5 hours litter picking were completed
7.5 miles were walked
11 bags of rubbish were collected
£1,473 was raised
A fantastic way to honour and remember Jane, contribute to the beauty of the environment and mark an important awareness event!
